October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each October, the MIL Corporate Service Center holds a fundraiser throughout the month of October to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We hold kick-off breakfasts, closing luncheons, and casual ‘pink’ Friday’s to raise awareness to end this terrible disease. Although the year has caused us to make many changes to our day-to-day lives, MIL wanted to dedicate October to Breast Cancer Awareness despite the unusual circumstances. This year, we opened up the campaign company-wide and kicked off the month by mailing staff masks and a small flyer with information and statistics on just how common breast cancer is. MIL encouraged staff to donate to our campaign page through the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc using a QR code provided. We are excited to share that together our staff raised over $700 dollars! MIL is so proud of our staff for donating and coming together to fight to end breast cancer.
