The MIL Integration Facility in Lexington Park, Maryland supporting warfighter needs during the pandemic.

In January most of the world had never heard of coronavirus (later, COVID-19), and in February none of us were truly prepared for the toll this would take on our daily lives. By early-March, the virus quickly began spreading both within the United States and abroad. It took over the normalcy of our regular routines and concepts like social distancing and quarantine became the new ‘normal’. While we are living in unprecedented times, MIL’s priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, clients, families, and the communities in which we live and work. MIL employees with the ability to telework were immediately encouraged to do so, with offices clearing out by the second week of March.

MIL is still actively engaged with client partners to ensure we continue delivering the level of quality, excellence, and timelessness all missions require. Our Integration Facility in Lexington Park, Maryland and some offices in Charleston are open and supporting mission-critical needs, while taking all necessary precautions recommended by the federal government and the CDC. In addition, MIL is still interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff. Although we are faced with extraordinary times, our People Making the Difference have adjusted and made this transition as smooth as possible, while continuing to support our client work.
