Great Place to Work and FORTUNE teamed together to offer companies a chance to receive a Best Workplaces certification and last year, MIL was ranked 97th out of 100 for Best Small & Medium Workplaces 2018. The certification is the result of a survey which analyzed anonymous feedback representing more than 158,000 employees at companies across the nation. MIL employees responded to over 60 questions describing the extent to which MIL creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees themselves say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Also assessed are employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of MIL leaders, to ensure the experiences are consistent. And, to ensure survey results truly represent all employees, Great Place to Work requires that Trust Index© survey results are accurate to a 95 percent confidence level with a five percent margin of error or better.
