Former Deputy Asst. Secretary Of Defense Joins MIL as COO
BOWIE, Md.—Jan. 17, 2013— As the first ever deputy assistant secretary for Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Ed Greer paved the way for the rebuilding of the department under Weapon Acquisition Reform Act of 2009. He not only molded DT&E policy and guided the acquisition of major Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems, but also served as the director of the Test Resource Management Center. Today, Greer lends his expertise to The MIL Corporation (MIL), a mid-sized government contractor, as their new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

MIL Awarded EAGLE II Contract with Department Of Homeland Security
BOWIE, Md.—December 7, 2012— The MIL Corporation (MIL) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an Independent Test, Validation, Verification, and Evaluation (IV&V) contract from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As one-of-six contract awardees, MIL will hold the contract for a five-year base period with an option for an additional two-year ordering period.

MIL Rock Band Brings Home Third Place from FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Bands
BOWIE, Md.—Oct. 11, 2012—The Cordovans of the MIL Corporation (MIL) recently assembled at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to compete in the 12th Annual FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Bands on Oct. 6, ultimately bringing home the third place title. The rock band, native to the Charleston, S.C. branch of MIL, played two sets against seven other bands in the final leg of the competition.
