MIL Named an Awardee for National Cyber Range Complex Contract
Mid-size government contractor selected among list of elite to provide planning, operations, and support services
Bowie, Md.—Aug. 2, 2021—The MIL Corporation (MIL) is excited to announce its place among awardees of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Event Planning, Operations, and Support (EPOS) IDIQ contract. The mid-sized government contractor’s slot for the ten-year, $2.4B contract is shared across 14 awards.
Services rendered under the NCRC EPOS contract will include, but are not limited to, cyber test and evaluation (T&E) event planning, execution, range operations, and site security.
“This win is a significant milestone for us at MIL,” said President and CEO, Maurice I. Long, Jr. “As a mid-sized contractor, we are thrilled to join the ranks of global industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin, SRC, Boeing, and BAE for this effort. Working alongside established, large businesses such as these is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our subject matter experts.”
Through the EPOS contract, the NCRC will acquire much-needed commercial industry partners ready and able to conduct range modernization activities and provide critical NCRC site services. The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) is also planning to increase its current cyber range capacity by creating interoperable cyber range facilities in Orlando and Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Charleston, S.C.; and Patuxent River, Md. The goal of this expansion is to significantly increase DoD’s cybersecurity T&E and cyber mission force training capabilities.
“After four years of contract competition, I could not be more thrilled to support NCRC in this effort, which will be critical in protecting U.S. cyber security interests,” said Sr. Vice President and Cyber Sector Lead, Larry Hollingsworth. “This award marks a significant step forward for MIL and our cyber experts, allowing us to spread our wings at the core of many of the Nation’s top cyber initiatives.”
