
On March 1, 2011, MIL was awarded the Capability Maturity Model Integration® (CMMI) Level Three Maturity rating from Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI). Accomplishing CMMI Level Three status is a notable achievement, as it is internationally recognized as a standard that that provides a framework and guidance for improving system development and integration processes.
After going through the rigorous CMMI® Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), MIL finished with the accomplishment of fully meeting or exceeding requirements in 17 of the 22 categories.
