MIL to Sponsor and Lead Demonstrations at 2018 Salesforce World Tour
Federal Salesforce Team will lead sessions on web standards and case management
BOWIE, Md.—April 02, 2018—The MIL Corporation (MIL) is pleased to announce it will be demonstrating its recent innovations in case management and web standards integration at the 2018 Salesforce World Tour in Washington, D.C. on April 4. MIL will attend the event as both an exhibitor and Platinum Sponsor.
This year’s Salesforce World Tour will take place in the Ronald Reagan Building, welcoming over 2,000 government leaders and business visionaries. Attendees seek insight about shaping business practices through Salesforce’s latest innovations and tools.
MIL will lead two sessions, detailed below, demonstrating strategies to drive organizational productivity and connective experiences. Attendees can experience these talks onsite or via a live broadcast online.
Federal Web Standards for Communities
Time: 12:45 PM- 1:05 PM
MIL’s Federal Salesforce Practice Director, John Harlow will lead this session on federal web standards for communities. The new U.S. web design standards promise to help you “design and build fast, accessible, mobile-friendly government websites backed by user research.” This demonstration will educate attendees on how MIL’s Federal Salesforce Practice has integrated these standards with Communities, incorporating defined page templates, UI components, development assets, and more. The session will showcase how federal Salesforce users can take advantage of this exciting new design system.
The Future of Federal Case Management: A Success Story
Time: 1:30- 2:00 PM
MIL Salesforce Trainer, Harry McLeod will moderate this session on the future of federal case management. Harlow will also serve on the panel. Federal case management systems have long been crucial to governing our nation’s administrative laws and regulations. Now, as federal agencies overhaul their IT systems, case management presents unique hurdles along the path toward modernization. Attendees will learn how Salesforce has helped federal staff members navigate the modernization challenges posed by case management, delivering solutions and/or enhancements around intake, mission execution, relationship management, and analytics.
MIL’s IT Services team includes a Salesforce Practice, led by Harlow, which focuses on maximizing customer relationship management through technology in the federal government. The Salesforce Transformation Framework used in MIL’s practice utilizes cloud-based technologies, ultimately helping agencies to modernize their tools and increase departmental efficiency for both their systems and personnel.
