MIL Named Winner of Greater Washington Area Top Work Places Award
BOWIE, Md.—June 16, 2017— The MIL Corporation (MIL), a midsized government contractor, has been awarded a 2017 Top Workplaces honor by The Washington Post. Three thousand companies from the Greater Washington Area were invited to participate in The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces Survey, with only 150 selected for the Top Workplaces award. MIL ranked 13th out of 25 large businesses across multiple industries.
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.
MIL’s employees, who provide innovative cyber, engineering, financial, and information technology services to the federal government, praised their organization for being a place the promotes work-life balance and employing supportive management. The survey also revealed that its workers felt that MIL provides them with meaningful work and a feeling that they are a part of something bigger.
