MIL Receives 2025 Corporate Partnership Award from Association of Fundraising Professionals, Maryland Chapter
Bowie, Md.—Oct. 29, 2025 – The MIL Corporation (MIL), leading provider of innovative cyber, engineering, financial, and information technology services to the federal government, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Corporate Partnership Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Maryland Chapter.
The annual award honors a company that demonstrates outstanding commitment to philanthropy through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and leadership in advancing positive social good. MIL was jointly nominated by St. Mary’s Ryken High School and MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in recognition of the company’s shared mission to strengthen Southern Maryland through education and healthcare initiatives.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from AFP Maryland,” said Marisa Daley, president of The MIL Corporation. “Philanthropy is a natural extension of our mission—People Making the Difference. Our partnerships with St. Mary’s Ryken and MedStar St. Mary’s are rooted in a shared belief that investing in people and in our communities creates lasting impact. This award is a reflection of our employees’ generosity, commitment, and heart.”
St. Mary’s Ryken and MedStar St. Mary’s nominated MIL for its steadfast support and leadership in advancing their missions. Together, the organizations have worked to expand educational and healthcare opportunities across Southern Maryland. As a Diamond Sponsor of MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, MIL’s contributions have supported surgical capabilities enhancement, helping to bring advanced, minimally invasive, and robotic surgery options to the region.
For more than four decades, MIL has been guided by a culture of service, excellence, and integrity. Beyond its role as a trusted federal services contractor, MIL has built a strong program for giving back through its MIL CARES (Celebrates, Acknowledges, Responds, Energizes, and Strengthens) program. Whether it’s through sponsorship, charitable programs, or community philanthropy, MIL works to empower the next generation of leaders and fosters growth throughout the region.
The 2025 National Philanthropy Day Celebration, hosted by AFP Maryland, will take place on Thursday, November 13, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore. The event will honor individuals and organizations advancing philanthropy and ethical fundraising throughout Maryland.
