MIL Named One of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity by Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE
BOWIE, Md.—Dec. 12, 2018— Great Place to Work and FORTUNE have honored The MIL Corporation (MIL) as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity. The Best Workplaces for Diversity rankings not only stand out for diverse organization and management team data, but for how employees report they are treated in the workplace. Out of 100 organizations selected for the list, MIL took the 86th slot.
To determine the list, Great Place to Work analyzed and compared the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, employees who are Boomers or older, and people who have disabilities within the organization. The 60 question, anonymous survey administered to all participating organizations reflects day-to-day workplace treatment, representing more than 4.4 million employees’ work lives.

The Best Workplaces for Diversity stand out for creating great workplaces for all employees, regardless of their personal characteristics. MIL stood out from the crowd, with 42% of employees identifying as a minority and 41% as female. Of these individuals, 25% are minority executives and 29% are female executives.

The Best Workplaces for Diversity list is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on anonymous employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. MIL was also was ranked 97th by Great Place to Work for Best Small & Medium Workplaces 2018 , which analyzed anonymous survey feedback representing more than 158,000 US employees.
