1. What is important about your work?

I believe the most important aspect of my work here is the ability to provide data analysis which often results in process updates or changes. Being able to provide time sensitive and essential information and solutions to our clients is very fulfilling.

2. What are the best aspects about your current job?

The best aspect of my job would be the relative freedom on how to achieve any new project that I am given. The trust given by our clients and MIL leadership allow me full creativity when completing a new task or project. Not being micromanaged is a blessing.

3. Why do you enjoy working at MIL?

I enjoy working at MIL because my team is wonderful, and we maintain a genuine and respectful relationship with our clients. I reference my team often, because they are always willing to assist in any capacity whenever asked. My team shares a genuine sense of comradery both on and off-site.

4. What is the most challenging project you’ve worked on at MIL?

The most challenging project I’ve been a part of so far would be the 2019 Furlough, if you can call that a project. I felt really new at the time and being thrust into an initiative that affected so many people’s lives was very humbling. It was new territory for a lot of people and I’m proud to have a played a small role to process pay during the lack of funding.

5. What is the best piece of career advice you can offer someone in your field who is either applying to or beginning a career at MIL?

The best advice I can give someone applying to or beginning a career at MIL would be to welcome every challenge. Apart from having a good team, much of my success at MIL is a direct result of using every assignment as an opportunity to learn and become an even better equipped member of my team.
