1. Why did you decide to join MIL?

I became interested in working with the MIL team for my career advancement and opportunity for future growth.  The reputation that MIL possessed as a high-level employee focused driven company is what intrigued me the most.  After having seen the teamwork and family like atmosphere, I was thrilled to be a part of the MIL team.

2. What are the best aspects about your current job?

I work on the Overseas Customer Support Desk as the Overseas Team Lead within the Customer Support and Training (CST) Department at CGFS.  The best aspects of my current job are the opportunities that I have had to meet amazing people from all over the world and the opportunity that I have had to travel abroad to many U.S. Embassies.  Every day for me is a new day with new challenges and unique opportunities.

3. Why do you enjoy working at MIL?

I really enjoy working for MIL because I have always had the best support from my superiors.  MIL has also given back to the Charleston community in several non-profit fundraiser events that have really fostered the family like atmosphere that has been enjoyable.  It is truly a great feeling to know at the end of the day I work for a company that supports me and career such as MIL.

4. What is the best piece of career advice you can offer someone in your field who is either applying to or beginning a career at MIL?

MIL has always provided a wide array of resources that have been helpful along the way.  If there is anything that I need, I know there is always a subject matter expert that is willing to help me.  There are also amazing training opportunities such as MILton online coursework and reimbursement for education and certifications that really supports the overall growth of MIL employees.
