Configuration Management, Team Lead

Mary joined MIL in July 2023 as a configuration management (CM) analyst. Her previous job experience includes database management and development along with technical support and coordination. Mary’s attention to detail, strong work ethic, and pursuit of perfection quickly made her a subject matter expert and go-to person for CM. In the past year she has played a key role in determining creative solutions for large software deliveries and creating a comprehensive manual for training and reference. In her new role as Team Lead, Mary will continue to enhance the process area of configuration management and provide software development life cycle (SDLC) support for over 30 Department of State applications.

When did you start working at MIL?
I started my career with MIL in July of 2023. 

In terms of career growth, what is one piece of advice you would offer someone beginning a career at MIL?
MIL sets you up for success and offers a variety of educational opportunities. My one piece of advice is to take advantage of the opportunities MIL gives you.

What is one piece of career advice you would give a recent college graduate?
Embrace continuous learning and adaptability. Being open to learning new skills, adapting to changing environments, and staying curious will make you invaluable in any career.
