1. What were you doing before joining MIL?

Before I joined MIL, I was a stay-at-home mom to my two children and I assisted my husband with the operations of our family business.

2. Why did you decide to join MIL?

I was speaking to a friend one day who happened to be telling me about this company she went to work for also after being home with her children; and she had so many wonderful things to say. The company supported work life balance, the people were amazing, and the work was rewarding. At the time MIL happened to need someone with my skill set so I came in for an interview and here we are seven years later.

3. What are the best aspects about your current job?

The best aspects for me of my current job are the collaboration efforts and the people. Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the same mission of customer service and helping others. Working beside people who are customer-oriented happens to make for a great place to work!

4. Why do you enjoy working at MIL?

The People! The people that I work with and for.  I also get great satisfaction in being in a role that I can make a small positive difference in someone’s life. Whether it’s a co-worker, supervisor, customer or a new employee. The most important thing is being able to make a positive difference.

5. If applicable, please share a memorable/significant experience that has occurred during your time with MIL.

The most memorable/significant experience that occurred during my time with MIL would be achieving our initial ISO Certification in 2013 and then our continuous yearly recertification’s since. Our MIL team standardized our daily processes from the initial recognition of an open position through a new hire first day.  By standardizing our hiring process, it would improve the efficiency of candidate selection and timely on-boarding.
