- Follow systematic processes to investigate, research, design, development, and test of system components/equipment/subsystems.
- Apply systems engineering principles, to identify, isolate and resolve or circumvent systems engineering problems.
- Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses reports, change proposals, systems specifications, test procedures, planning documents, operational concepts, and other technical documentation associated with initiating an In-Service Engineering Activity for remote sensor systems.
- Utilize engineering experience to perform functions such as system installation/integration, configuration management, trade studies, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management in gaining approval for engineering changes to DHS tower systems.
- Develop technical solutions to problems, implement enhancements, and upgrade C5ISR system architectures.
