As an NCO in the military, I wore many hats and shouldered various responsibilities. Every piece of my training, whether it be technical, tactical, or for leadership has transferred to every skill I need in the civilian world and has given me the ability to overcome every challenge! I appreciate the person the military helped me become \u2013 civilian companies reap the benefits of our intrinsic sense of dedication, resilience, and ability to maintain perspective during stressful situations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program Certified<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MIL is a certified Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program company. The Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program helps employers develop and implement successful, long-term strategies to recruit, hire, and retain Virginia Veterans. American Veterans Advocacy (AVA) Group Sponsor<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MIL is a proud sponsor of the AVA Group. The American Veterans Advocacy (AVA) Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Southern Maryland that provides assistance to veterans and their families. Their initial mission focuses on military-to-civilian transition support services for veterans in the local area where they work in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DoD) Transition Assistance Program (TAP) to provide seamless transition services. Their services include job fairs, mock interviews, resume assistance, salary negotiation techniques, mentoring sessions, instruction on proper interview and business attire, professional networking events, and job placement opportunities. They\u2019re veterans helping veterans and their families successfully navigate the transition to civilian employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t
