The MIL Corporation is proud to announce the win of a new contract! MIL successfully bid and won a 3 year, multi-million dollar contract with the International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Department of Commerce, to operate their Customer Support Center (IT Help Desk). This win further strengthens and expands our presence at ITA. Although we have been working at Commerce for years, the IT Help Desk is a function which was held by another contractor…..until now! This contract will allow us to add an additional 12 people to our existing project team. The main Help Desk function will be transitioned to our Lexington Park Office by early summer, where they will remotely support the over 3000 ITA customers around the world, with a 24x7 operation.The MIL Corporation is proud to announce our first win under the Navy SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract vehicle! SeaPort-e is an important vehicle for MIL as it is a procurement mechanism for engineering, financial, and program management contractor support services throughout the Navy. This competitive award is with the Naval Medical Information Management Center (NMIMC) which is located at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, and is for a duration of 5 years. MIL will be providing a variety of senior Oracle Database Administration services in a multi-tier, multi-platform environment. Under the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), NMIMC was established in 1961 with the mission to improve, develop, and distribute new information technologies in support of Navy Medicine's commitment to patient care, and supports the business of force health protection by leveraging technological advantages in the areas of e-health and e-business. With this multi-year contract, we are extremely hopeful in being able to expand our presence within NMIMC, BUMED, and throughout Naval Medicine.
