MIL Opens New Corporate Space in Tysons Corner
Local government contractor continues to grow its footprint in the D.C. Area
BOWIE, Md.—Aug 01, 2017— The MIL Corporation (MIL), a mid-sized government contractor, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office location in McLean, Va. The approximately 10,000 sq. foot office space will house an additional location for MIL’s corporate operations, supporting its Accounting, Contracts, Corporate Business Development, Human Resources, Proposals & Marketing, and Recruiting teams.
Located at 8401 Greensboro Drive, the Tysons Corner office accommodates MIL’s growing professional staff, which manage corporate operations for cyber, engineering, financial, and IT service area contracts. The new office ultimately works to facilitate enhanced collaboration due to its proximity to our customers, vendors, and teaming partners. MIL will also continue to occupy its original headquarters in Bowie, Md., which it has called home since the 1980’s.
“We are very excited to have opened the doors to our Tyson’s office,” said MIL COO Marisa Daley. “Not only is the space fresh and modern, providing attractive areas for independent work as well as collaboration, it also offers a new, convenient location to new and future employees. Now that we have a location in Tysons, our D.C. area team members can get to us from the Metro’s Silver Line or the Dulles Toll Road.”
Continuing its forward momentum, MIL recently expanded its Lexington Park, Md. Office in July 2017. Located off Expedition Drive, the Engineering Services building has gained an entirely new third floor, boasting over 20 office spaces and a unique training facility. This additional space will allow for continued customer support to its NAVAIR client in close proximity to the naval base.
